Program are by grade level for fall 2023



Kamp Konocti is a volunteer-run sleep-away camp, held in Marin County at Camp Tamarancho. Currently we are planning for entering 2nd-10th grade campers for the summer of 2023. For campers, camp opens Sunday, July 16th and ends Saturday, July 24th. For adult volunteers, camp starts Saturday, July 15th and ends Saturday July 24th. Questions? KampKonocti@gmail.com

Got Skills?



8th Grade Cadetts 9th & 10th Grade Seniors





Do you want to know how to start a fire without a lighter or matches? Learn how to tie knots and how to put them to use on outdoor structures and or camping gadgets? Would you like to learn how to safely use and care for a pocketknife? (Bring your own). You can even learn how to safely drink water from a pond. Come join Malibu in learning a variety of outdoor skills and tools.

Super Hero Training Camp



7th & 8th Grade Cadettes / 9th Grade Seniors





Are you a superhero? Do you have any hidden super hero talents and just need to get some extra training? At Superhero Training camp, you will design and create your own hero costume (mask and cape provided), learn some superhero skills like hand to hand combat and martial arts and write your own comic strip to tell your origin story of how you became a Superhero. We will finish up with the performances of our adventures. In the process campers will earn the Public Speaker Badge. Come join Spunky & Snack at Super Heroes Training camp!

Mad Hatters Tea Party



6th & 7th Grade Cadettes





We’re not late yet! It’s time to follow Snickers on a thought provoking journey through the rabbit hole and into Wonderland. A week filled with so much joy, fun, and wonder while meeting and conversing with all kinds of personalities: some energetic like the White Rabbit, some entrancing like The Mad Hatter, some mischievous like the Cheshire Cat, and some who’s heart is fit for a crown. The week will be filled with lively activities such as: a scavenger hunt, exciting tie-dye, and making your own yummy ice cream and finger sandwiches for our end of the week Tea Party! Leaping down the camp rabbit hole you will earn two fun patches for your scavenger hunt and teamwork! No more time to waste, leap into Wonderland with us!

Hoots & Hooks



4th & 5th Grade Juniors





Fiber arts and nature unite! Join Azelea and learn about Native California owls, investigate their habitats, and learn to crochet! Each camper will practice basic crochet stitches and crochet their very own baby owl. We will also learn about different owl sounds and what we can do to protect the habitats of these amazing creatures. Campers will earn the Junior Animal Habitats badge.

Archery Adventrues



4th, & 5th Grade





Join Firefly to hone your archery knowledge, and earn Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan Junior Archery Badge. Campers will learn proper technique, range safety and setup, have daily opportunity to practice archery, design and create their own target, and create their archery based artwork.

Wilderness Wonders



2nd and 3rd Grades





Brownies, entering 2nd and 3rd graders, are invited to come for a week of fun. Come explore nature at camp, and earn the Outdoor Art Creator and Brownie Shapes in Nature badges. Campers will explore nature at camp, by going on a nature scavenger hunt, looking at patterns in nature, creating nature rubbings art and making a windchime . Plus make new friends and learn camp traditions. (Campers in this unit will sleep in groups of 3-4 in large 8-10 person tents).

Adult volunteers





Adults Volunteers- did you love going to camp as a child? Help us provide that experiences for Kamp Konocti is a volunteer-run residential camp, which means we can’t run camp without help. There are two main positions at camp, unit staff and kitchen staff. The kitchen staff prepares all the meals at camp, unit staff lives in the unit with the campers and guides them through the week.


There will be two informational meeting - new volunteers, please plan to attend one. April 27th or May 18th from 7-7:30pm.
