Kamp Konocti CIT Program



The CIT program at Kamp Konocti is for girls in grades 9-12 who want to improve their leadership skills. CIT's will have the opportunity to teach and mentor younger campers with guidance from camp staff. The CIT program prepares older girls to become future camp counselors and develop life skills that will be used beyond the summer camp experience. This is a year round program. Interested in becoming a CIT, please see the flyer for more information.

What do we look for in our CIT’s? CIT’s are friendly, reliable, responsible, creative, patient, supportive, respectful, dedicated, committed, understanding, caring, fun, upbeat, and must have initiative, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, maturity, sensitivity, and put safety first.
Kamp for CITs will be July 11 - 18, 2025 at Camp Tamarancho in Marin County.

CIT are expected to attend all training.
Training are on Sundays, at the Girl Scouts of Northern California Council Office in Santa Rosa. There is a full weekend of training, from 6pm on Friday March 27 to 11am on Sunday March 29th.
